NOTICE OF SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING

A SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING of Crathes Croquet Club will be held at Albury Outdoor Sports Centre, Albury Road, Aberdeen on Saturday 6th September 2014 at 10.30 am.

The purpose of the Meeting is to consider and approve alterations to the Constitution, as follows :

Clause 3.1 Membership

Delete the sentence “ The General Committee of the Club shall have power to grant or refuse admission subject to the Equality and Diversity Policy as detailed in Section 12 below”.

Insert the sentences  “ Membership is open to all, embracing Equality and Diversity.  Membership cannot be refused without good reason and right of appeal exists”.

Clause 11.3 Dissolution

Delete the words “but handed over to the National Trust for Scotland, Crathes Castle”

Insert the words “ but transferred  to an organisation with similar aims and objectives

Clause 7.3 General Meetings

Add the following sentence “ The Notice to every member will be sent by email or post to their home address”

This will be the only business to be dealt with.
